Add a connection

Each connection links one GoHighLevel sub-account to Claude. You'll need two things from that sub-account:

  • Location ID — GHL → Settings → Business Profile (or copy it from your sub-account URL).
  • Private Integration Token — GHL → Settings → Private Integrations → Create, then copy the token.
Connection created — copy the code now, it is shown only once:

Connect it in Claude:

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add (or "+"), then Add custom connector.
  3. Name your connection — something like "Acme Co. GHL Connection".
  4. Paste your Connector URL (above) where it says "Remote MCP Server URL", then click Connect.
  5. If it doesn't show skills yet and offers another Connect button — don't worry, click it.
  6. On the page that opens, paste your Connection Code (above), then click Connect.
  7. You should be set up! On Claude Desktop, if the connection doesn't appear in your connections list, fully close Claude and restart it — the list refreshes on launch.

Lost the code? Use Rotate code on the connection below to generate a new one (the old one stops working).
